Seventh-Day Adventist Sabbath School Quarterly for Android

Friday, March 19, 2010

Today, I released a Sabbath school quarterly app on the Android Market. I’ve been using it on my phone for the last few weeks, and it makes keeping up with the lesson tons easier. If you are an Adventist with and Android phone (or other android device), then totally check it out.

It let’s you take notes, and it remembers the notes so they are easily accessible later when you are taking part in the discussion during Sabbath school.

Hello, I use the Sabbath School Quarterly on my HTC Thunderbolt Android phone. It works great, thanks...

The SSQuarterlyl uses the BibleGateWay as their hyperlink Bible for verses mentioned in the daily Bible studies.

Last month, the NIV Bible translation was changed to the New King James, but this month they have it set to NIV.

Is there a way to permantely set this to the New King James or King James version. I do not like the NIV and find it errant in word useage and translation.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Love this quarterly and appreciate having the Bible available.

I maybe doing something incorrect, but I have difficulty in loading texts in books starting with a 1. I also have a variety of Olive Tree Bibles and wonder if there is a way to use them instead. Since I'm lazy I'd like a direct lookup.

I have been using the Sabbath School Quarterlies for quite some time. Have it on my Nexus One and B&N Nook Color. I will be sending a donation in appreciation shortly.

Hi again Stefan... I love this app, but I have been unable to get the hyperlink verses that are directed to BibleGateway to default to the KJV or NKJV. As it stands it always defaults to NIV.

I've gone up on Bible Gateway and set my default bible to KJV but from inside the Quarterly App, it defaults to NIV. How do I get my Android HTC Thunderbolt Quarterly app to default to the KJV or NKJV?

Thanks,

Dennis
